About the role

We are seeking a Sea Export Import Staff member to join our dynamic team at PT Wings Global Logistics in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating the movement of goods across international borders via sea freight. As a Sea Export Import Staff member, you will be at the heart of our operations, managing documentation, coordinating with shipping partners, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of our clients' shipments and upholding our reputation for reliability and expertise in the import/export industry.

𝑱𝒐𝒃 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Sea Export–Import Staff to handle and coordinate sea freight shipments from documentation and booking through shipment arrival and delivery.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in sea export and import operations, understands freight forwarding procedures, and is able to coordinate effectively with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs, customers, and internal teams.

𝑲𝒆𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔
- Handle and monitor sea export and import shipments from booking/arrival until cargo delivery.
- Prepare, check, and maintain export and import shipping documents, including BL, invoice, packing list, shipping instruction, arrival notice, and other supporting documents.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs/port representatives, and other related parties regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Handle Delivery Order (DO) release and coordinate the cargo release/delivery process for import shipments.
- Follow up on vessel schedules, shipment arrival, container status, and cargo release.
- Coordinate with shipping lines and relevant parties regarding discrepancies such as short/partial shipments, container issues, damaged cargo, incorrect documentation, or other operational matters.
- Monitor demurrage/detention-related information and coordinate with relevant parties when required.
- Coordinate with customs and internal teams to ensure smooth customs clearance and cargo delivery.
- Provide shipment updates to customers and follow up on their operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all operational documents are properly filed.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Finance, Customs, and Operations teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.

𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sea Export–Import operations, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
- Graduate from any discipline.
- Good understanding of sea freight export and import procedures and documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using the Elvis Freight Forwarder System is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
