Microsoft 365 System Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Microsoft 365 System Engineer to join our team under a remote work arrangement. The successful candidate will design, administer, secure, and support Microsoft 365 environments for our business clients while delivering responsive and professional technical service.

Job Position: Microsoft 365 System Engineer (Remote)

Job Description:

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Configure and manage user identities, access permissions, licensing, groups, mail flow, collaboration settings, and security policies.

• Support Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, compliance and configuration policies, application deployment, and endpoint protection.

• Monitor service health, security alerts, and system performance, and take proactive action to minimize disruption.

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Microsoft 365 incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.

• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, standard operating procedures, and client handover materials.

• Provide clear technical guidance and professional support to our clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.

• Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.

• Good understanding of identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, conditional access, role-based access, and Microsoft 365 security principles.

• Experience in a system integrator or managed services environment is preferred.

• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.

• Resourceful, able to work independently, and equipped with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or Endpoint Administrator Associate, are an added advantage.
