Sales Surfboard ( ULUWATU -BALI)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Sales Surfboard specialist to join the Dharma Uluwatu team in South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will be at the forefront of our retail operations, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our dynamic surfboard retail environment. Your role will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for our customers whilst contributing to the growth and success of our business in one of Bali's most vibrant coastal locations.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting customers and providing expert product knowledge about our surfboard range, including materials, designs and specifications

• Assisting customers in selecting the right surfboard based on their skill level, weight, height and surfing preferences

• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

• Maintaining an organised and visually appealing retail environment, including stock displays and merchandise arrangement

• Conducting regular stock counts and monitoring inventory levels to ensure product availability

• Building strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat business through exceptional service and product recommendations

• Answering customer enquiries about surfboard care, maintenance and warranty information

• Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

• Staying current with new product arrivals, promotions and industry trends to share with customers

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in sports, outdoor or lifestyle retail

• Genuine passion for surfing and knowledge of surfboards, or a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and explain technical product features in an accessible manner

• Strong numerical and cash handling abilities with attention to detail

• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak tourist seasons

• Physical fitness and capability to handle and move surfboards and other retail stock

• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Indonesian or Mandarin are advantageous

• A positive attitude, reliability and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
