Sales R&D

About the role

Sales R&D position supporting a Japanese foreign investment manufacturing company in the automotive textile sector, producing vehicle interior materials such as automotive cover seats and airbag safety materials. The role will be based at Jababeka Industrial Area, Cikarang Pusat.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between Sales, R&D, and client teams (particularly Japanese executives/management) to communicate specific product needs or samples

• Support market research activities and identify new automotive textile product trends according to client specifications and requests

• Maintain relationships with existing B2B clients and handle quotation requests, material specifications, and sample feedback follow-up

• Work closely with Production, Quality Control (QC), and internal R&D teams to ensure sample product development proceeds according to schedule and quality standards

• Prepare sales activity reports, R&D project developments, and business presentation materials in Indonesian and Japanese

• Manage supporting documents for sales transactions, sample delivery schedules, and sales operations administration

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Japanese Language Studies or work/internship experience (Tokutei Ginou/Jitshusei) in Japan for minimum 2 years

• Japanese language proficiency certificate minimum JLPT N3

• Neat, and professional
