About the role

PT Avip Interiors is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Interior & Furniture professional to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Raya and or Cikupa, Tangerang. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of interior design solutions and furniture products to both residential and commercial clients. You will serve as a key liaison between our design team and customers, translating their needs into compelling sales opportunities whilst showcasing the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our offerings. This position is integral to expanding our client base and achieving ambitious revenue targets within the competitive interior design and furniture sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and cultivate relationships with potential clients in the residential and commercial sectors

• Present interior design concepts and furniture collections to prospective clients, highlighting product features, benefits and design innovation

• Conduct needs assessments with clients to understand their aesthetic preferences, functional requirements and budgetary constraints

• Prepare detailed quotations and sales proposals tailored to individual client specifications

• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered successfully

• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial consultation through to contract finalization and project completion

• Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, preferences and transaction history using related systems

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue objectives

• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the purchasing journey and beyond

• Stay informed about current interior design trends, furniture collections and competitor offerings

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within interior design, furniture, home décor or related luxury goods sectors

• Strong understanding of interior design principles, furniture styles, materials and manufacturing processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

• Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and translate them into tailored solutions

• Proficiency in using related software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales whilst maintaining client satisfaction

• Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous

• Valid driving license and reliable transportation

• Willingness to travel to client sites for consultations and presentations

• Preferred: Prior experience in B2B and B2C sales within the design or furniture industry

• Preferred: Familiarity with design software or the ability to interpret design drawings and specifications
