Retail Sales (Uluwatu-Bali)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at NEXA UNIVERSE DEVELOPMENT BALI in South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced retail environment where you will drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the success of our retail operations. Your role will be fundamental in creating memorable customer experiences and achieving our sales targets whilst representing our brand values with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and services

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems and handling various payment methods

• Maintain detailed product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions

• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques and customer engagement

• Keep the retail space clean, organised and visually appealing, including regular merchandising and stock displays

• Monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist with stock replenishment and organisation

• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally, working towards satisfactory resolutions

• Support promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive customer awareness and footfall

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive working environment

• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, remaining motivated and productive under pressure

• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays as required

• A positive attitude, professional appearance and willingness to learn and develop within the role

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism

• Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems and technology is advantageous

• Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred; additional languages are a bonus in our diverse customer environment
