Project Surveyor ( Gianyar - Ubud Bali )

About the role

NEXA UNIVERSE DEVELOPMENT BALI is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our dynamic team based in Gianyar, Bali. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a crucial role in the surveying and measurement aspects of our construction projects in the Ubud and Gianyar regions. As a Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work is executed to the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Your expertise will be fundamental to maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and cost efficiency across all phases of our development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and produce detailed measurements and plans for construction projects

• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks to ensure accurate positioning of structures

• Monitor and verify that construction work aligns with approved drawings and specifications

• Prepare as-built surveys and documentation upon completion of construction phases

• Conduct regular site inspections and produce technical reports detailing progress and any deviations from design

• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and project managers to resolve surveying-related issues

• Utilise surveying equipment and software to capture, process and analyse survey data

• Maintain accurate records of all survey work, measurements and site documentation

• Identify and communicate potential safety risks or compliance issues observed during surveys

• Support the project team in resolving disputes related to measurements, boundaries or specification compliance

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field, with recognised professional qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in construction surveying within commercial or residential development projects

• Proficiency in surveying software and CAD applications, including data collection and processing tools

• Strong knowledge of surveying methodologies, accuracy standards and relevant construction codes and regulations

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical documentation and reports

• Proven ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with local Balinese construction standards and building regulations is preferred

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites within the region
