About the role

Konstruksi is seeking a Purchasing Konstruksi professional to join our dynamic team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our Bali office, where you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement operations. As Purchasing Konstruksi, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services essential to our construction and logistics operations. This role is strategically important to our business, as effective purchasing directly impacts project timelines, cost management, and overall operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and related services required for ongoing projects

• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing and favourable conditions

• Processing purchase orders and managing the procurement pipeline to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply chains

• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with project managers to forecast material and equipment requirements

• Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost metrics

• Managing procurement documentation and maintaining accurate records of all transactions

• Identifying cost reduction opportunities and implementing efficient purchasing strategies

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including project management, finance, and operations to support project needs

• Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or logistics industries

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software

• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and maintain organized procurement records

• Understanding of cost control and budget management principles

• Preferred: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (such as APICS or equivalent)

• Preferred: Previous experience working in the construction sector or with international suppliers
