About the role

We are seeking a talented Mining IT professional to join our team on a full-time basis in our North Jakarta office. This role is pivotal in supporting the technological infrastructure that underpins our mining operations. As Mining IT, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our network systems and IT infrastructure. You will work closely with operational teams to understand their technology needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity and safety across our mining sites. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on how technology supports our mining activities and contributes directly to our operational success.

Key responsibilities :

• Maintain and manage the company's network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and communication systems across multiple mining sites

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations

• Monitor system performance and security, implementing preventative measures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities

• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and network components in compliance with company standards

• Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions to ensure data security and appropriate access levels across the organisation

• Conduct regular system backups and maintain disaster recovery procedures to protect critical business data

• Document network configurations, system changes, and IT procedures to maintain accurate records and support knowledge transfer

• Collaborate with IT team members and operational staff to identify technology requirements and implement appropriate solutions

• Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, prioritising critical issues affecting mining operations

• Maintain compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and industry regulations relevant to mining operations

What we're looking for :

• 2 - 3 years of experiences in a similar role

• Good communication in English and organizational skill

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or equivalent professional certification (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Associate, or similar)

• Proven experience in network and systems administration, ideally within an industrial, mining, or resource extraction environment

• Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and protocol management

• Proficiency in managing Windows and/or Linux operating systems and server environments

• Experience with network monitoring and management tools to assess system health and performance

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security measures to protect network infrastructure

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment

• Familiarity with IT asset management and inventory control processes

• Preferred experience with virtualisation technologies, cloud services, or remote monitoring systems used in industrial settings

• Willing to be based in Head Office in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta
