About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Resort to join our team in Gamping, Yogyakarta. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and oversee the daily operations of our resort, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. As Manager Resort, you will be the driving force behind our property's success, responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This role is critical to achieving our business objectives and delivering on our brand promise to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all resort operations, including accommodation, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue

• Lead, train, motivate and manage the resort staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective operations

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Manage guest relations and address complaints or concerns promptly and professionally

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of resort facilities and grounds

• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to promote the resort and drive bookings

• Plan and execute special events, conferences, and group functions

• Implement quality control measures and maintain service standards across all departments

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort management

• Proven track record of successfully managing operations and achieving financial targets

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in hospitality management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Sound knowledge of hospitality industry best practices and trends

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Strong organisational and time management capabilities

• Fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and spoken)

• Hospitality management certification or relevant qualification is preferred
