About the role

We are seeking a dedicated House Keeping Resort professional to join our team in Gamping, Yogyakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetic appeal of our resort facilities. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas meet our exacting standards of hygiene and presentation. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and contributes significantly to the overall reputation and success of our resort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Perform regular inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly to management

• Stock and replenish guest rooms with fresh linens, toiletries, towels, and other amenities according to resort standards

• Clean and maintain common areas, including lobby, corridors, public restrooms, and recreational facilities

• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively

• Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements with professionalism and courtesy

• Follow all resort policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental protocols

• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and front-of-house team members to deliver seamless guest experiences

• Maintain accurate records of room status and report any damages or lost items

• Contribute to training and mentoring of junior housekeeping staff as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in housekeeping or room cleaning within a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality establishment

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet daily cleaning quotas

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for health and safety

• Reliable and punctual work ethic with flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and public holidays

• Strong communication skills and a guest-focused attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic understanding of English language is preferred

• Relevant housekeeping certification or training would be advantageous
