About the Role  

We are seeking a responsible individual that will oversee the maintenance work activities according to agreed plan, while maintaining a health & safe working environment with the prime objective of ensuring that the mechanical and equipment’s availability targets are achieved. 

Responsibilities  

• Supervise and review daily accounting transactions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. 

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes. 

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports. 

• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and internal controls. 

• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities. 

• Review account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. 

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring. 

• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members to achieve departmental objectives. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting functions. 

What You’ll Bring  

• Minimum of senior/technical high school or trade qualification is preferred.

• Minimum 4 years experiences working in leadership roles.

• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/heavy mobile equipment.

• Having Apprentice Certificate is preferred.

• Must have SIM A

• Minimum POP certification

• Roster: 4 weeks on & 2 weeks off
