Logistic Staff (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role
We are seeking a Logistic Staff (Mandarin Speaker) to join our team in Morowali, Central Sulawesi. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. The successful candidate will bring strong logistical expertise and fluent Mandarin language capabilities to facilitate communication and coordination within our diverse workforce and business partnerships. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations, accurate inventory management, and effective communication across our logistics network.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and dispatching of goods

• Managing inventory records and ensuring accurate documentation of all stock movements

• Liaising with transport providers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and collection of shipments

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and replenishment processes

• Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities and preparing operational reports

• Communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including partners, customers and team members

• Supporting the implementation of health, safety and environmental procedures within the warehouse

• Identifying and reporting any operational inefficiencies or issues affecting logistics performance

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and safety

• Assisting with training and supporting junior staff members as required

What we're looking for

• Fluent Mandarin language skills (both written and spoken)

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution operations

• Strong organisational and time management abilities

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations within logistics operations

• Physical fitness to perform manual handling and warehouse-related tasks as required

• Diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is preferred

• Experience working in a manufacturing or resource-extraction environment would be advantageous
