PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in the automotive manufacturing industry in finding great talent as a Japanese Interpreter with the requirements as follows:

Working Location: Karawang, West Java (KIIC / Suryacipta Industrial Estate)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Japanese–Indonesian interpretation during meetings, discussions, and daily communication between Japanese and local employees.

• Translate business documents, emails, reports, manuals, and other relevant materials between Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Accurately convey the speaker's meaning, intentions, context, and cultural nuances.

• Clarify ambiguous information to prevent misunderstandings and ensure effective communication.

• Support communication and coordination between Japanese management and local departments.

• Provide interpretation and translation support to Japanese directors and managers, along with other related duties.

Requirements:

• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above.

• More than 2 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter in a Japanese manufacturing company is preferred.

• Experience in Japanese–Indonesian interpretation and translation.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey meaning accurately beyond literal translation.

• Fresh graduates with JLPT N1 and strong motivation to learn may also be considered.

• Candidates with high school education and experience as Technical Intern Trainees in Japan are welcome to apply if they demonstrate strong Japanese communication skills.

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Japanese Language or Japanese Studies, is an advantage; relevant experience and language proficiency will also be considered.

• Conversational English skills are preferred.
