Automation Staff (Electrical / Mechanical Engineering)

We are an automotive manufacturing company specializing in clutch production for both two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles, located in KIIC Industrial Area, Karawang. We are currently looking to hire Automation Staff members for two separate positions: one in Electrical Engineering and one in Mechanical Engineering.

Both positions focus on designing, developing, and implementing automation systems and Special Purpose Machines (SPM) to support industrial production processes. Each candidate will be responsible for tasks specific to their respective engineering specialization, as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Engineering

• Develop ideas, design, and implement machine automation systems according to production process requirements.

• Create and modify PLC programs and automation control systems.

• Create and update electrical schematics, panel layouts, and technical documentation.

• Perform installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of machines or automation systems.

• Conduct troubleshooting, fault analysis, and repairs of electrical and automation systems.

• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

2. Mechanical Engineering

• Design automated machines, jigs, fixtures, conveyors, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM) using 3D CAD software.

• Create working drawings (2D drawings), assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) as production references.

• Select materials and mechanical components based on functional requirements, cost, and manufacturability.

• Troubleshoot and improve existing designs.

• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

• Turn 3D design concepts into physical components through hands-on fabrication.

• Modify and fabricate existing machines to convert them into automated machines.

Qualifications

1. Electrical Engineering

• Minimum D3 or S1 in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. High school or vocational school graduates with experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM) or fabrication are also welcome to apply.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in industrial automation will be an advantage.

• Understand the fundamentals of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Familiar with PLC programming, particularly Mitsubishi, Omron, or Keyence.

• Able to read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and automation system flowcharts.

• Understand the fundamentals of electrical panel wiring, sensors, actuators, and industrial control devices.

• Willing to work in the field, including workshops and plant facilities.

• A quick learner with good communication skills and a proactive attitude, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

2. Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum D3 or S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field. High school or vocational school graduates with experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM) or fabrication are also welcome to apply.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in industrial automation will be an advantage.

• Understand the fundamentals of mechanical and pneumatic systems.

• Familiar with 3D design software, such as SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360.

• Able to read and create 3D models and 2D drawings, as well as perform motion simulation and stress analysis.

• Understand the fundamentals of operating milling machines and lathes, perform welding, and carry out bench work processes (Proses Kerja Bangku).

• Willing to work in the field, including workshops and plant facilities.

• A quick learner with good communication skills and a proactive attitude, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
