HSE & Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The HSE & Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for supporting and maintaining Resindo's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance (QA) management systems across all company departments and projects. This is primarily an office-based position, with a strong focus on maintaining, reviewing and continuously improving company HSE and QA procedures, forms, registers, templates and other controlled documentation. The role also ensures that personnel understand and correctly apply these systems in their day-to-day work. Site visits will be undertaken as required to understand operations, verify implementation and support project activities. Occasional site assignment may also be required; however, this position should be understood as predominantly an office-based HSE and Quality Assurance role rather than a field HSE position.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Company's HSE Management System

• Maintain and update HSE procedures, plans, forms, registers, checklists and supporting documentation

• Monitor changes to applicable Indonesian HSE legislation and requirements and assist in maintaining company compliance

• Assist with incident and near-miss reporting, investigation, corrective actions and close-out

• Maintain accurate HSE statistics and supporting records for company and client reporting

• Support internal and external HSE audits and follow up resulting actions through to completion

• Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS)

• Maintain, review and regularly update QA procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, registers and other controlled documents across all company departments

• Develop and conduct regular staff training and awareness sessions covering HSE, QA and company management system requirements

• Conduct routine reviews of company departments and projects to verify implementation of HSE and QA requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Public Health with K3 specialisation, or another relevant discipline

• Fresh graduate to approximately 2 years' relevant experience

• Ahli K3 Umum (AK3U) certification/appointment is advantageous but is not mandatory at the time of appointment

• Knowledge or understanding of SMK3 and Indonesian occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements

• Understanding of management systems and ISO standards, particularly ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint capability

• Good written and spoken English

• Ability to prepare clear procedures, reports, training materials and other professional documentation

• Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and maintaining procedures, forms, registers and controlled documentation

• Confidence to communicate with staff and management and to follow up requirements where actions have not been completed
