Hotel Pool Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and service-oriented Pool Attendant to join our hotel team in Pandawa, Bali. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the swimming pool area while ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the swimming pool area, including sun loungers, umbrellas, tables, and surrounding facilities.

• Prepare and arrange pool towels, loungers, and other guest amenities.

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.

• Assist guests with towels, seating arrangements, and general pool area inquiries.

• Monitor the pool area to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hotel policies.

• Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or potential safety hazards to the relevant department.

• Coordinate with the Housekeeping, Engineering, and Recreation teams to maintain smooth daily operations.

• Ensure pool equipment and guest facilities are properly maintained and stored.

• Follow hotel hygiene, health, safety, and emergency procedures.

• Assist with poolside activities or other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Previous experience as a Pool Attendant, Public Area Attendant, or in a similar hotel position is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic English communication skills are preferred.

• Friendly, helpful, and guest-oriented attitude.

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and responsibility.

• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
