Head of Finance, Accounting and Tax

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance, Accounting and Tax to join Our Company in Jakarta on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal senior leadership position that will oversee all financial, accounting, and tax operations across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This role is critical to the company's financial health and operational success.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance, accounting, and tax department, ensuring efficient and effective operations

• Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

• Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies that minimise liabilities whilst ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and international standards

• Manage the annual audit process and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax authorities

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting systems

• Provide strategic financial analysis and forecasting to support business decision-making and budgeting processes

• Direct the accounting team in the timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions

• Monitor cash flow, working capital management, and financial performance against established metrics

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial, accounting, and tax legislation and regulations

• Mentor and develop finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence

• Liaise with government agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders on financial and tax matters

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related financial discipline from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior financial management, accounting, or tax roles within a corporate or manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, management accounting, and taxation in Indonesia, including knowledge of VAT, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes

• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting standards

• Proven experience leading and managing finance and accounting teams of varying sizes

• Excellent knowledge of financial systems and accounting software, with proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality and ethical business practices

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages is essential
