Finance Accounting & Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for a FAT Manager who will not only oversee Finance, Accounting & Tax operations, but also act as a Finance Business Partner to Management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and company growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to Management, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations for business decision-making.

• Lead and oversee Finance, Accounting & Tax functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Manage AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, inventory accounting, and stock movement.

• Oversee cash flow, working capital management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Prepare and analyze management P&L, financial reports, and business performance.

• Monitor and analyze forex / foreign exchange impact on the business, particularly in relation to import transactions.

• Oversee financial aspects of import processes, including import costs, customs-related costs, landed cost, and inventory valuation.

• Manage and monitor VAT, PPh, tax compliance, audit, and transfer pricing documentation.

• Partner with Management and other functions to identify business risks, improve financial controls, and drive profitability.

• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with solid managerial experience.

• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, tax, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, inventory, stock movement, and working capital.

• Proven experience handling import-related finance/accounting processes and foreign exchange (forex).

• Experience in FMCG, trading, distribution, or import-driven companies is highly preferred.

• Good knowledge of VAT, PPh, audit, and transfer pricing.

• Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with confidence in communicating with international stakeholders.
