About the role

We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and responsible Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menu standards, and guest preferences

• Prepare ingredients and ensure all food items are fresh and properly stored

• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and hygienic at all times

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

• Monitor ingredient stock and inform the supervisor when supplies need replenishment

• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently

• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery

• Assist with menu preparation and suggest new dishes when required

• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is used safely

About you

• Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen position is preferred

• Fresh graduates from a culinary or hospitality background are welcome to apply

• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards

• Able to prepare a variety of dishes and follow recipes accurately

• Responsible, disciplined, organized, and attentive to detail

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management and communication skills

• Able to work efficiently during busy service periods

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
