BIM Drawer & CAD Drawer – Construction (MEP/Civil/Structural)

Our client is an Indonesian construction and engineering company involved in delivering construction projects requiring multidisciplinary technical coordination. Its operations involve integrating design documentation, engineering requirements, and construction execution to support effective project delivery.

The company's engineering activities require close collaboration between civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines. Through technical drawing preparation, BIM modeling, construction coordination, and project documentation, they support the alignment of engineering designs with practical site requirements.

With project assignments across Jakarta, Cikarang, Karawang, Batam, and Surabaya, our client is strengthening its technical design and engineering capabilities to support ongoing project requirements. The company is seeking BIM professionals who can deliver accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready models and drawings while collaborating effectively with engineering and site execution teams.

Job Role:

We are hiring BIM Drawer and CAD Drawer to support multidisciplinary construction and engineering projects. Candidates may specialize in either Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using AutoCAD, with responsibilities aligned to their respective technical expertise.

BIM Drawer – Autodesk Revit

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for MEP and civil/structural construction works. The role involves BIM modeling, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, quantity take-offs, and generating construction-ready technical drawings.

CAD Drawer – AutoCAD

Responsible for preparing, revising, and managing detailed 2D construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for MEP and civil/structural projects. The role emphasizes technical drawing accuracy, drawing revisions, document control, and coordination with engineering and construction teams.

Both positions will work closely with design engineers, project managers, and site execution teams to ensure accurate engineering documentation and effective project implementation.

Candidate Requirements:

Education

• Minimum SMK/SMA or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field, with relevant technical certifications.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in BIM Modeling, CAD Drafting, Technical Drawing, or related construction engineering functions.

• Proven experience working on Construction, Engineering, MEP, Civil, or Structural projects.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation.

• Experience coordinating with engineering, design, BIM, or site construction teams.

• Familiarity with construction drawing revisions, technical coordination, and as-built documentation.

Technical Requirements – BIM Drawer

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit, particularly for MEP or Civil/Structural modeling.

• Experience developing accurate 3D BIM models based on engineering design drawings and construction specifications.

• Understanding of MEP systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection, or civil/structural components.

• Experience conducting multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and model revisions.

• Ability to generate technical construction drawings, sections, and details directly from BIM models.

• Familiarity with BIM-based quantity take-offs, model parameters, family management, and modeling standards.

• Knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360, Tekla, or other BIM coordination platforms is advantageous.

Technical Requirements – CAD Drawer

• Strong hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing detailed 2D engineering and construction drawings.

• Experience producing MEP or Civil/Structural floor plans, sections, schematics, shop drawings, and installation details.

• Strong understanding of AutoCAD layers, blocks, layouts, plotting scales, drawing standards, and technical annotations.

• Experience managing drawing revisions, document registers, drawing distribution, and version control.

• Ability to interpret engineering schematics, technical symbols, elevations, coordinates, and construction specifications.

• Ability to independently prepare, revise, and maintain engineering drawings or BIM models.

• Familiarity with BIM-based drawing workflows and coordination with Revit models is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PDF markup tools, and technical document management is preferred.
