About the role

PT Queen's Tandoor is seeking a dedicated Akunting (Accounting professional) to join our team in Kuta Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Kuta location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Akunting role is essential to our operations, providing the financial foundation that enables PT Queen's Tandoor to make informed business decisions and maintain transparent reporting across all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and processing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling bank statements on a regular basis

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

• Processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee compensation records

• Conducting account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies

• Supporting the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and providing required information

• Maintaining organised and accurate financial records and documentation

• Assisting with tax compliance and the preparation of tax-related documentation

• Identifying and resolving accounting issues and variances promptly

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in accounting, finance or a related field (diploma or degree)

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within a hospitality or food service environment

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including double-entry bookkeeping

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and reconcile discrepancies

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with other team members

• Fluency in English and Indonesian (both written and verbal)

• Professional communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly
