Accounts Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our team at PT. VIAANSH AGRO IMPEX' in Jakarta. As the Accounts Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and benefits.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Generating financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis

• Ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes

• Collaborating/ Coordinating to analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making

• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures

• Liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required

• Providing support and guidance on accounting and taxation matters

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Fresh graduates will be preferred. Experienced may also apply.

• Good English skills will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations

• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and collaborative approach to work
