About the role

This role involves teaching Earth Science (Kebumian) according to curriculum and student needs, with a particular focus on preparation for the National Science Olympiad (OSN). You will develop and deliver comprehensive instruction in geology, meteorology, climatology, oceanography, basic astronomy, and Earth dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Earth Science material according to curriculum and student needs, particularly for National Science Olympiad (OSN) preparation

• Develop modules, teaching materials, practice questions, and detailed explanations of Earth Science content

• Teach concepts in geology, meteorology, climatology, oceanography, basic astronomy, and Earth dynamics

• Guide students in understanding natural phenomena, geological processes, climate change, and Earth systems

• Train students in data analysis skills, map interpretation, graph reading, imagery analysis, and Earth science phenomena

• Develop learning strategies and practice questions tailored to students' ability levels

• Evaluate learning outcomes and monitor student competency development regularly

• Collaborate with the academic team in developing materials, question banks, and olympiad coaching programs

About you

• Minimum S1 qualification in Geology, Geophysics, Meteorology, Oceanography, Geography, or related field

• Mastery of Earth science concepts, including geology, meteorology, climatology, oceanography, and basic astronomy

• Ability to analyze data, read maps, graphs, geological cross-sections, and natural phenomena

• Strong teaching ability, communication skills, and systematic material delivery

• Ability to develop modules, practice questions, and explanations with accuracy

• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability

• Disciplined, meticulous, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with a team
