Tutor IPS

About the role

This is a tutor position for Social Studies (IPS), teaching materials covering Economics, Geography, Sociology, and History according to student learning levels and curriculum requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Social Studies materials according to curriculum and student needs

• Develop modules, teaching materials, practice questions, and explanations for Social Studies content

• Teach concepts in Economics, Geography, Sociology, and History according to learning levels

• Guide students in understanding social, economic, historical, and environmental phenomena

• Train critical thinking skills, data analysis, graph interpretation, and problem-solving abilities

• Develop interactive, creative, and easily understood learning methods

• Conduct learning outcome evaluations and monitor student progress regularly

• Collaborate with the academic team in developing materials, question banks, and learning programs

About you

• Minimum S1 education in Social Studies Education, Economics Education, History Education, Geography, Sociology, or related field

• Master Social Studies materials according to teaching level

• Understand education curriculum and characteristics of relevant exam questions

• Able to systematically develop teaching materials, practice questions, and explanations

• Good communication, presentation, and teaching abilities

• Able to analyze social, economic, historical phenomena and supporting data

• Creative in developing learning methods and utilizing digital media

• Disciplined, thorough, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with team

• Experience teaching or mentoring Social Studies olympiad is an added value
