Transport Planners & Network Executive

About the role

As a Transport Planning & Networking Executive at DHL Supply Chain, you will support the design, planning, and continuous improvement of transportation networks that deliver exceptional service to customers. This role involves driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the success of complex supply chains across Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation plans that optimize cost, service, and operational efficiency

• Support route planning, capacity allocation, and transportation resource utilization

• Analyze and improve transportation networks to support business growth and operational effectiveness

• Identify opportunities for network optimization, route efficiency, and cost reduction

• Partner with customers and operations teams to support Modern Trade distribution requirements

• Ensure transportation planning aligns with retail replenishment schedules, delivery windows, and customer service expectations

• Track and analyze transportation performance indicators, including OTIF (On Time In Full) and service delivery metrics

• Work closely with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align planning activities with business requirements

• Utilize data and analytical insights to improve transportation efficiency and network effectiveness

• Support process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, cost management, and service quality

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Transportation Planning, Logistics Operations, Distribution Network Management, or Supply Chain Planning

• At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar Transportation Planning or Network Management role

• Experience within FMCG, Retail, Logistics, 3PL, or Distribution environments is highly preferred

• Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations, including distribution models, retail replenishment processes, delivery scheduling, OTIF performance management, customer service requirements, and retail compliance standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Experience in transportation optimization, route planning, and network analysis

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
