About the role

PT Deus Ex Machina Indonesia is seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our Bali office, where you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our brand presence across all social media platforms. As Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that drive engagement, enhance brand awareness, and support our sales objectives. This role is integral to our client and sales administration functions, ensuring seamless communication between our brand and our customers whilst supporting our sales team's efforts to attract and retain clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, create and schedule engaging social media content across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter

• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments and messages in a timely and professional manner

• Analyse social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports on engagement, reach and growth trends

• Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional content and campaigns that drive lead generation and customer acquisition

• Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets to maximise ROI and target audience reach

• Identify and engage with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our social media reach

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices across platforms

• Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels through guidelines and visual standards

• Support the sales administration team in coordinating customer communications and follow-ups through social channels

• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform content strategy and positioning

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of 2 years working as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar social media management role

• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices and algorithms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Indonesian is advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, original content including graphics, videos and copy

• Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Meta Business Suite

• Proficiency with graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

• Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and campaign management

• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative content ideas

• Customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with online communities

• Knowledge of the Indonesian market and local social media trends is highly desirable
