Social Media & Content Creator — Hospitality

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to join Hita, a new design-led boutique hotel in Are Guling, Lombok.

This role is for someone who can think creatively, understand hospitality, and make great content independently — not just someone who can schedule posts.

What you’ll do

• Develop and manage Hita’s Instagram and social media content

• Create Reels, Stories, and other short-form content from concept through to final edit

• Come up with content ideas that feel authentic, creative and engaging

• Film and edit content yourself using a phone/camera and editing tools

• Build a consistent visual and editorial style for the brand

• Capture the hotel, architecture, interiors, construction journey, local environment and experiences

• Help develop social media campaigns to build awareness and anticipation ahead of opening

• Write captions and communicate the Hita story clearly in English

• Monitor performance and use insights to improve content

• Work closely with the founders, architects and creative team

We’re looking for someone who

• Has professional experience in social media/content marketing, ideally in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, travel or lifestyle

• Can independently shoot, edit and produce Reels and other short-form video

• Has a strong understanding of Instagram and what makes content perform

• Has a good eye for design, photography, composition and storytelling

• Is confident communicating and writing in English

• Is creative, proactive and comfortable working independently

• Understands how to create content that feels genuine rather than overly promotional

• Can translate a brand's personality into social content

Bonus points

• Experience launching a new hotel, restaurant or hospitality brand

• Photography or videography skills

• Graphic design skills

• Interest in architecture, interiors, travel, fashion, culture or design

Hita is a small, design-led hotel being developed in Are Guling, Lombok.

We’re creating something that sits somewhere between a boutique hotel, a creative retreat and a place to simply play, explore and reconnect. The brand is warm, curious, creative and quietly confident — with a strong focus on design, local culture and meaningful experiences.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely gets that feeling and can translate it into content.
