Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist to own SEO for our company website, from strategy and technical diagnosis to content optimisation, implementation and reporting. Your goal will be to attract relevant visitors and increase qualified enquiries, bookings or sales from organic search. You will prioritise the work, implement improvements within your access and expertise, and coordinate with management and available development or content support to deliver the remaining changes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deliver an SEO plan based on business goals, target audiences, keyword research, competitor analysis and search intent.

• Audit technical and on-page SEO. Diagnose crawling, rendering, indexing, duplicate content, canonical tags, redirects and site-performance issues.

• Improve site structure, internal links, page titles, headings, meta descriptions, XML sitemaps and relevant structured data. Write clear developer briefs and verify implemented fixes.

• Map keywords to service, destination, product or booking pages as relevant. Prepare content briefs, optimise priority pages, and plan updates to existing content.

• Manage local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation where applicable. Assess international or multilingual SEO needs for our target markets.

• Review backlink quality and pursue relevant editorial links, partnerships and digital PR in line with Google spam policies.

• Validate organic conversion tracking with the relevant team. Report monthly on qualified traffic, enquiries, bookings or sales, completed work, blockers and next priorities. Distinguish contact clicks from confirmed leads.

• Use AI tools where useful for research, analysis and reporting, with human review. Monitor relevant AI search visibility and test improvements using documented methods and clear measurement limits.
