SEO Specialist (Freelance, Remote) for a Video and Podcast Studio in Bali

We run a full service production studio in Bali. Studio filming, podcasts, online courses, webinars. We are not an ad agency, we rent out and operate the studio itself. Most of our clients are English speaking, foreign brands and international creators. Our site and all our content are in English

We want people searching for a studio in Bali to find us in Google. Our main target is to rank in the top for two keywords: video studio Bali and podcast studio Bali

What you will do
Keyword research. Find what words people actually search for, how many searches per month, and which ones bring paying clients
Map keywords to pages. Decide what pages we need for each group of keywords and build their structure
Fix the technical side. Page speed, mobile version, indexing, duplicates, broken links, titles, descriptions, headings
Write and edit page content in English so it answers the search intent and sells
Build backlinks and mentions. Directories, partner sites, articles, reviews
Manage our Google Business Profile. Many clients find studios through maps, so this matters to us
Track results. Not rankings, but organic traffic, leads from it and revenue
Nice to have
Google Ads experience. We are open to working with one person who can cover both SEO and paid search. Tell us about it if this is you, and quote it separately from your SEO rate

How we work and what we expect
We do not expect everything done in one month. What we do expect is visible progress every month, so we can see we are moving somewhere
Once a month we look at three things: leads from organic search, traffic to our service pages, and what exactly was created or changed on the site, as a list of URLs
We worked with an SEO provider before and got monthly reports with nothing actually changing on the website. That is the one thing we want to avoid

What to include in your application
Two or three projects where you did SEO, with traffic and lead numbers before and after. Links to the sites so we can check them ourselves
If you have worked with businesses in Bali or with English speaking audiences, tell us which ones. This market works differently from Jakarta and we value that experience
Open our website and name three pages you think are missing. Two sentences are enough
How many hours per month you can commit and your rate

Details
Freelance and fully remote, no office. Having other clients is fine
English is required, both for communication with us and for writing site content. Not necessarily fluent speech, but your written English needs to be good

Budget: IDR 5,000,000 per month for SEO, open to discussing more if you also handle Google Ads
