Production Manager Shrimp Hatchery

Overview
PT Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA Aquaculture) is looking for a Production Manager Shrimp Hatchery to lead and oversee shrimp hatchery production operations across the full production cycle. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, biosecurity compliance, and operational excellence are achieved while driving continuous improvement and team development across hatchery operations.

Job Description

• Lead and oversee all Main Production operations (Nauplii, and Post Larvae) and Production Support operations (Artemia, Polychaeta, and Algae) to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.

• Develop operational strategies and manage budgeting and cost control in accordance with company targets and policies.

• Ensure production processes comply with technical standards, SOPs, best practices, 6S, and biosecurity, as well as conduct regular quality evaluations.

• Analyze operational issues and drive continuous improvement, including technology development to improve and maintain Production Support quality.

• Prepare and present production reports to management and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Ensure readiness for audits, certifications, and inspections, compliance with applicable regulations, and communication with external parties when required.

• Lead and develop the operational team through coaching, performance evaluation, competency development, and fostering a culture of discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years as a Head of Unit or in relevant positions such as QC Manager, QA Manager, or Shrimp Hatchery Production Manager; or minimum 10 years as a Broodstock Production Supervisor or Larvae Production Supervisor.

• Strong knowledge of shrimp hatchery production processes, including broodstock management, nauplii production, larvae rearing, biosecurity, and quality control practices.

• English proficiency is an advantage.

• Willing to be placed at any company unit across Indonesia.
