Production Assistant Manager – Ice Cream Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Assistant Manager – Ice Cream Specialist to join our manufacturing team in GIIC Deltamas, Kabupaten Bekasi. The ideal candidate is a hands-on production professional with strong technical knowledge of ice cream manufacturing processes, production management, quality, food safety, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily ice cream production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and efficiency.

• Ensure production processes comply with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality, and company standards.

• Monitor and optimize key ice cream manufacturing processes, including mix preparation, homogenization, pasteurization, aging, freezing, filling, hardening, and packing.

• Identify production problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor production efficiency, yield, material usage, downtime, and process losses.

• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators.

• Coordinate closely with QA/QC, R&D, Engineering, Warehouse, Planning, and Maintenance teams.

• Ensure production equipment and processes operate safely and efficiently.

• Prepare production reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Support new product/process trials and production scale-up when required.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Mandatory experience in the Ice Cream Industry.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably with experience in an ice cream manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of ice cream production processes and technology.

• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage production teams.

• Willing to work in GIIC Deltamas, Kabupaten Bekasi.
