Product Development & Design Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing design concepts from idea to production.

• Prepare sketches, technical specifications (spec sheets), and product documentation.

• Support fabric, trim, color, and material sourcing and testing.

• Coordinate sample development and communicate revisions with the production team.

• Assist during product fittings and update designs based on feedback.

• Help prepare cost calculations, product data, and project timelines.

• Support communication with clients, suppliers, and production teams regarding product development.

• Conduct research on fashion trends, market insights, and customer preferences.

• Maintain organized records of designs, samples, and product development progress.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.

• Basic understanding of garment construction, textiles, and sewing techniques.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Passion for fashion, creativity, and willingness to learn.
