About the Role
DIC Group is seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist (MDG-SAP-CIGNAS) to be based in Mojokerto. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data across SAP, MDG, and CIGNAS systems, with a strong focus on Dangerous Goods (DG) Safety and compliance. You will ensure the accurate, consistent, and timely setup of new parts and modifications to existing parts to support safe and compliant operational executions.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management: Create, maintain, modify, and cleanse material master records in SAP, MDG, and CIGNAS to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
DG Safety & Compliance: Evaluate, classify, and maintain Dangerous Goods (DG) attributes within the master data system according to international regulations (e.g., GHS, IMDG, IATA) to ensure safe handling, storage, and transport.
Process & Governance: Follow established master data standards, naming conventions, and document all data changes for audit purposes.
Operational Support: Support operations teams with timely data setup for procurement, planning, production, and shipment.
System Coordination: Work across systems to align data fields and liaise with IT for any system-related data issues.
Compliance & Safety: Coordinate data completeness for assessments (SDS, Halal Declaration, CAS Number, TDS) and comply with corporate health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
Continuous Improvement: Carry out continuous improvements through individual Kaizen or group activities (QCC).
Requirements & Hard Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Toxicology.
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English (Mandatory).
System Expertise: Strong experience using SAP, with a high preference for the MM (Material Management) Module.
DG Safety Knowledge: Proven understanding or mastery of DG Safety (Dangerous Goods Safety) regulations, chemical classification, and hazard communication.
Chemical Literacy: Strong technical understanding of chemical substances, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
Logistics & Export: Familiarity with international inventory lists, labeling requirements, and handling export activities for chemical products is highly preferred.
