Marketing Manager

About the role

This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies for heavy equipment rental services, identifying and cultivating new projects in mining, construction, plantation, and related sectors that require heavy machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies for rental services in line with company targets

• Identify and develop new projects in mining, construction, plantation, and other sectors requiring heavy equipment

• Source new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

• Conduct customer visits and project site surveys to assess heavy equipment requirements

• Analyze customer needs including equipment type, quantity, project duration, location, and rental system

• Follow up on quotations until obtaining purchase orders or work contracts

• Create and monitor project pipeline and customer prospects

• Ensure equipment availability and readiness before accepting work

• Monitor project progress and maintain customer satisfaction

• Identify opportunities for additional equipment, contract extensions, and repeat orders

About you

• High school education (S1)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing within heavy equipment, heavy equipment rental, construction, or mining sectors

• Established relationships with mining companies, contractors, and project owners

• Ability to develop marketing strategies and achieve targets

• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

• Capable of conducting market price and competitor analysis

• Able to work based on targets and deadlines

• Willing to undertake out-of-town assignments
