Mandarin Translator/Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our team at PT Ace Medical Products Indonesia in Batang Regency, Central Java. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Chinese-speaking partners, clients and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Translate verbal and written communication from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa

• Act as a communication bridge between the local production team and Mandarin management to ensure information is conveyed clearly and accurately.

• Prepare and translate production documents such as work instructions, production reports, quality standards, and other technical documents.

• Assist in briefings, meetings, training sessions, audits, and inspections in the production area.

• Ensure that all work instructions are properly understood by operators and related staff.

• Prepare meeting minutes and assist with production department administration.

• Help resolve communication issues occurring within the production work environment.
  

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven experience as a professional translator, with at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role

• Strong research and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and nuanced translations

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

• Familiarity with translation software and other relevant technologies

• Willing to be placed in KITB Batang, Central Java
