Export Import Specialist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, Customs, International Freight, or related fields.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in import customs clearance.

• Familiar with KEK / Free Trade Zone customs declaration systems and various import schemes.

• Customs Declarant and/or Inspection & Quarantine Certificate is preferred.

• Able to read and verify English trade documents such as B/L, Invoice, and Packing List.

• English and Chinese as a working language.

• Good knowledge of HS classification, duty calculation, customs valuation, and commodity inspection.

• Experienced in handling customs inspections and declaration amendments.

• Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiar with freight forwarding and terminal operations.

• Experience with lithium batteries or chemical imports is an advantage.

• Willing to be based in Batang, Central Java.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle import customs clearance, including document preparation, submission, verification, and monitoring.

• Manage customs declarations for General Trade, Bonded Zone, Temporary Import/Export, and Processing with Imported Materials.

• Verify import documents such as B/L, Invoice, Packing List, and supporting documents for accuracy and consistency.

• Handle HS classification, import duties, taxes, customs valuation, and commodity inspection requirements.

• Manage customs-related issues, including customs inspections, declaration amendments, and valuation cases.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, terminal operators, and government authorities to ensure smooth clearance.

• Maintain accurate customs records and import/export documentation.

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs and import regulations.

• Support the import of lithium batteries, chemicals, and other regulated commodities.

• Perform other customs and import-related duties as assigned.
