Mandarin Inteprenter

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional interpretation services between Mandarin Chinese and English/Indonesian in meetings, presentations, and formal discussions

• Interpret during site visits, project meetings, and communications with Chinese personnel and partners

• Assist with translation of documents, emails, and correspondence as required

• Support administrative operations by facilitating clear communication between international and local teams

• Attend construction sites, office meetings, and external events to provide real-time interpretation

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and interactions

• Liaise with various departments to ensure consistent and accurate communication flows

• Support the smooth execution of daily business operations through effective language services

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with proficiency in Indonesian being highly advantageous

• Proven experience as an interpreter or translator in a professional, preferably construction or engineering environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical and commercial terminology accurately

• Strong understanding of construction terminology, project management concepts, and business operations

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple interpretation tasks simultaneously

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity

• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced, dynamic work environments

• Flexibility to work on-site and off-site as operational requirements demand

• Relevant certification or qualification in interpretation or translation is preferred
