About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Management Trainee to join our team in Sorong Town, West Papua. This is a full-time position designed to develop the next generation of business leaders within our organisation. As a Management Trainee, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our business operations, working across multiple departments and reporting lines to build a comprehensive understanding of general management practices. This role is pivotal in developing your capabilities to take on increasingly senior management responsibilities. You will work in our Sorong Town office, experiencing first-hand the unique challenges and opportunities that characterise our operations in this dynamic region.

What you'll be doing

• Support senior management in the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives across our operations

• Rotate through various departments to gain broad exposure to different functions including operations, finance, human resources, and commercial activities

• Assist in the analysis of business performance data and the preparation of reports for management review

• Contribute to the planning and execution of projects that support our sustainability and community engagement objectives

• Support the coordination of cross-functional teams on key business activities and process improvements

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business decision-making

• Assist with the development and communication of company policies and procedures

• Participate in management meetings and contribute ideas for business optimisation

• Support the monitoring of key performance indicators and business metrics

• Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior management

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related discipline

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and identify insights

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Indonesian is highly desirable

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships across different levels of the organisation

• Proactive and self-motivated with a genuine eagerness to learn and develop professionally

• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Flexibility and adaptability, with an openness to working in a dynamic and evolving environment

• A commitment to sustainability principles and corporate social responsibility values

• Willingness to relocate to Sorong Town, West Papua for the duration of the programme

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
