Legal, Compliance, and Risk Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Legal, Compliance & Risk Manager to lead our legal, compliance, and risk management functions and ensure our business operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Job Description:

• Lead and supervise the Legal, Compliance, and Risk team to ensure effective execution of departmental responsibilities

• Oversee legal matters, including contract drafting and review, corporate legal documentation, litigation, and coordination with external legal counsel.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly Bank Indonesia regulations related to payment systems and PJP activities.

• Monitor regulatory updates and oversee regulatory reporting and submission requirements.

• Establish and maintain company policies, SOPs, compliance procedures, and risk management frameworks.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, operational, and business risks.

• Coordinate regulatory examinations, internal and external audits, and follow-up on findings and corrective actions.

• Provide strategic advice to management on legal matters, regulatory developments, compliance issues, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Risk Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, or risk management, preferably in payment gateway, fintech, banking, or financial services.

• Previous experience in a managerial or team leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly Bank Indonesia regulations related to payment systems and PJP activities.

• Experience in litigation, contract management, regulatory reporting, risk assessment, and audit coordination.

• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
