IT Operation Manager (Data Center Industry)

Operational Management

- Manage daily IT operations within the data center, ensuring maximum uptime and service reliability.

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures and best practices.

- Monitor infrastructure performance, system health, and service availability.

- Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed according to schedule.

- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive actions.

Infrastructure Management

- Oversee servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, operating systems, and network infrastructure.

- Coordinate infrastructure deployment, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.

- Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are properly maintained and tested.

- Maintain system capacity planning and performance optimization.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop IT Operations Engineers and support teams.

- Assign work schedules, monitor team performance, and conduct performance evaluations.

- Provide technical guidance and coaching to improve operational capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

- Client & Vendor Management

- Act as the primary operational contact for customers regarding service delivery.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, warranty, and technical support.

* Ensure contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.

* Prepare operational reports and present service performance to management and clients.

Compliance & Security

- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, information security policies, and data center operational requirements.

- Support IT audits and regulatory compliance activities.

- Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation plans.

- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed throughout operational activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Facilities, Security, and Regional Headquarters.

- Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders regarding project updates, operational issues, and technical discussions.

- Support new customer onboarding and infrastructure expansion projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure / IT Operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.

- Proven experience in Data Center IT Operations, preferably in a Hyperscale / Cloud Data Center environment.

- Strong knowledge of servers, storage, virtualization, operating systems, and network infrastructure.

- Experienced in 24x7 mission-critical operations, including incident, problem, change management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.

- Willing to work on-site in Jabodetabek and support 24x7 operational requirements when needed.
