In-house Legal (Generalist)

About the role

This role involves providing legal expertise to ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, managing legal issues during project execution, and supporting the company's legal and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts and issue legal advice to ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations

• Provide legal advice and assist in resolving legal issues arising during project execution

• Monitor legal compliance to ensure that company operations and project execution comply with Indonesian legal requirements

• Assist in handling legal communications with government departments, regulatory bodies, and other external entities

• Keep track of changes in Indonesian laws and ensure that company policies and project strategies can adapt to the new legal environment on time

• Participate in project negotiations, provide legal support, and ensure the maximization of company interests

About you

• Hold a degree in Indonesian law and possess a practicing license as an Indonesian lawyer

• Legal experience in the construction industry or related fields

• Proficient in Indonesian legal systems, particularly in construction law and Civil Code

• Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and negotiation techniques

• Good teamwork spirit and ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment

• Fluent in both Indonesian and English for bilingual communication

• Active PERADI License
