About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import Export Documentation professional with strong expertise in PIB preparation, import customs clearance, and Indonesian customs regulations. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently preparing and reviewing PIB drafts, verifying import documentation, coordinating with PPJK and relevant stakeholders, and ensuring smooth and compliant customs clearance processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and verify PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) drafts to ensure accuracy of HS codes, customs values, import duties, taxes, and supporting documents.

  • Verify the completeness and consistency of import documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, manifests, certificates of origin, and other required permits.

  • Coordinate with PPJK, customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, surveyors, and internal departments throughout the import clearance process.

  • Monitor customs clearance progress, including submission of PIB, document verification, customs inspection, and issuance of SPPB.

  • Handle and follow up on customs clearance issues, including SPJM, document discrepancies, physical inspections, and additional customs requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian customs regulations, import licensing requirements, and company SOPs.

  • Monitor import permits and supporting requirements, including LS, SNI, and other applicable technical or regulatory documents.

  • Maintain accurate import documentation, customs records, and clearance reports.

  • Identify documentation risks and recommend solutions to prevent clearance delays, penalties, and unnecessary logistics costs.

About you

  • Minimum D3 or S1 in Logistics, International Trade, Customs Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in import documentation and customs clearance.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in preparing, reviewing, and validating PIB drafts independently.

  • Good understanding of Indonesian customs procedures, import duties and taxes, HS classification, customs valuation, and import regulations.

  • Familiar with CEISA, INSW, and other relevant customs or import licensing systems.

  • Experienced in handling customs clearance processes, including SPPB, SPJM, customs inspections, and import permit requirements.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills when dealing with PPJK, customs authorities, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, responsible, and able to work under tight deadlines.

  • PPJK certification is strongly preferred.

  • Experience handling industrial, steel, or other regulated imports, including SNI and LS requirements, is an advantage.
