Import Export Staff

About the role

Import Export Staff position with PT Glory Ocean Logistics, a logistics and freight forwarding company providing import and export services. You will be responsible for handling import/export shipments, coordinating with customers, vendors, shipping lines, and overseas partners, and ensuring all shipment documents are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily import and export shipments

• Prepare and check shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, invoice, packing list, and other import/export documents

• Coordinate with customer, HQ, agents, Shipping line

• Monitor shipment progress from booking until completion

• Provide shipment updates to customers

• Communicate with Chinese customers and partners in Mandarin or English

• Check the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents

• Input costing to system

• Follow up on shipment issues, delays, and documentation problems

• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data

About you

• Good in English language, both spoken and written

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Import/Export operations

• Experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company is preferred

• Understand import/export procedures and shipping documentation

• Familiar with Bill of Lading, invoice, packing list, and shipping documents

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Able to handle multiple shipments and work under deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn

• University Graduate, Good in English language
