Export Import (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

TAILG Indonesia is a growing company in the electric vehicle industry. This role will work closely with internal departments, overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, PPJK, and customs authorities to manage and ensure smooth import-export operations, customs clearance processes, and international logistics activities. All import and export activities must comply with Indonesian regulations and support the company's operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export processes, including shipment preparation, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of import-export documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance processes.
• Monitor shipment progress from supplier origin until arrival at warehouse/factory, including tracking delays or potential issues.
• Ensure HS Code classification, import requirements, and customs documentation comply with Indonesian regulations.
• Communicate and coordinate with China suppliers and overseas teams regarding shipment schedules, documents, and import-export matters using Mandarin.
• Handle and resolve issues related to customs clearance, document discrepancies, shipment delays, or regulatory requirements.

About you

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Export Import, Custom Clearance, International Logistics, or Supply Chain operations.
• Experienced in handling import processes, customs clearance, and coordination with PPJK/freight forwarders.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, import-export procedures, and related documentation.
• Familiar with import-export documents such as PIB, PEB, Invoice and HS Code.
• Mandarin proficiency required (minimum HSK 4 or equivalent) to communicate with China suppliers and overseas teams.
