Your Role in This Journey:
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Manage employee relations matters across multiple entities, including grievances, misconduct, disciplinary issues, workplace conflicts, and other employee cases.
- Handle end-to-end case management, including investigation, evidence gathering, BAP, documentation, recommendation, and follow-up actions.
- Advise HR and line managers on disciplinary actions and ensure consistent application of Company Regulation and applicable regulations.
- Manage employee separation matters, including resignation, mutual separation, contract non-renewal, and PHK, in coordination with HR, Finance, Management, and Legal.
- Maintain complete, confidential, and audit-ready case documentation.
Industrial Relations & Government Relations
- Manage relationships with LKS Bipartit, Disnaker, and other relevant government authorities.
- Support bipartite meetings, negotiations, government inspections, consultations, and mediation.
- Manage the drafting, review, renewal, and registration of Company Regulation (PP) and/or PKB in coordination with HR and Legal/HQ.
- Support dispute resolution and coordinate with external legal counsel for PHI proceedings when required.
- Escalate cases with significant legal, financial, operational, or reputational risks and provide recommendations to management.
Employment Law Compliance & Policy
- Monitor Indonesian employment laws, regulations, and relevant legal developments and assess their impact on the business.
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical HR policies, SOPs, guidelines, and management recommendations.
- Ensure compliance across entities covering employment status, working hours, overtime, leave, wages, statutory benefits, termination, outsourcing, BPJS, and mandatory employment reporting.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews, maintain the employment compliance calendar, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
Policy Implementation & Employee Communication
- Support the implementation and communication of Company Regulation, employment policies, Code of Conduct, and other HR policies.
- Provide practical guidance to HR and line managers on employment regulations and employee relations procedures.
- Conduct employee briefings or training on policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee rights and responsibilities.
- Identify recurring employee relations issues and recommend preventive actions or policy improvements.
Employee Relations Analytics & Risk Management
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends, including disciplinary cases, grievances, turnover, absenteeism, and employee complaints.
- Identify recurring issues and potential ER/IR risks and recommend preventive actions.
- Prepare regular ER/IR reports and dashboards for local management and Korea HQ.
- Maintain an employee relations risk register and provide management with fact-based recommendations considering legal and business impact.
HR Operations & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, Finance, and Legal on employee relations and employment matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Provide ER/IR input on organizational changes, workforce movements, and HR initiatives that may create employment risks.
- Support HR projects involving employment policies, restructuring, workforce changes, and regulatory implementation.
- Coordinate with Korea HQ and relevant stakeholders on sensitive ER/IR matters and provide documentation and updates in English when required.
We are excited to meet:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Law, Psychology, Human Resources, Management, or a related field. Law degree is strongly preferred.
Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related HR role, with substantial exposure to employee case management.
Strong working knowledge of Indonesian employment laws and regulations, particularly those relating to employment relationships, disciplinary action, working conditions, PKWT/PKWTT, wage and benefits, and termination.
Demonstrated experience handling employee disciplinary cases, employee grievances, and employment separation/termination cases.
Hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, implementing, or renewing Peraturan Perusahaan (PP) and/or PKB.
Experience dealing directly with Disnaker and handling bipartite or mediation processes.
Strong ability to assess employee relations risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations to management.
Excellent documentation, investigation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for communication and reporting with Korea HQ and international stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS; strong capability in preparing reports, documentation, and case analysis.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Law or professional certification in Industrial Relations/HR, such as BNSP certification.
Experience handling PHK and Industrial Relations Court (PHI) matters, either directly or in coordination with external counsel.
Experience working in a multinational company, Korean/Japanese company, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or highly regulated industry.
Experience supporting multiple legal entities, business units, or work locations.
Experience managing or supporting labor unions, LKS Bipartit, or collective negotiations.
Korean language proficiency is an advantage.
Experience working with HR analytics, employee relations dashboards, or HR risk management frameworks.
