Electrical Service Technician (Gas/Diesel Engine)

As an Electrical Service Technician (Gas/Diesel Engine), you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of diesel or gas engines. You will ensure engines are properly adjusted and perform start-up and shutdown operations in both manual and automatic modes. Key tasks include working with electrical tools, using software and control systems to download parameters, and providing detailed work and service reports. You will collaborate with customers during testing and troubleshooting, participate in continuous improvement efforts, and ensure all processes follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain diesel/gas engines and control panels.

• Perform combustion adjustments and set engine parameters.

• Use electrical tools and manufacturer’s software/portals for system checks.

• Conduct engine start-up and shutdown operations in both manual and automatic modes.

• Provide detailed work reports with recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with customers for engine testing and troubleshooting.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts for maintenance and troubleshooting processes.

• Perform engine running tests and commissioning.

• Recommend improvements to the project team for smoother troubleshooting and commissioning.

Qualifications:

• Min. Diploma Degree of Electrical Engineer in Power System, Power Engineering, or related area ("Arus Kuat")

• Have min. 2 years of experience as an Electrical Service Technician (Engine)

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, must graduated from Electrical Engineer in Power System, Power Engineering, or related area)

• Prior professional experience with reciprocating engines preferred.

• Professional English fluency.

• Familiar with JENBACHER products for gas engines or MTU products for diesel engines.

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Office in BSD, South Tangerang and willing to travel
