EHS Lead - Data Center Construction

PT Meinhardt Indonesia is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to oversee and monitor the implementation of EHS requirements for large-scale Data Center construction projects.

The successful candidate will provide EHS leadership, monitor contractor compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the implementation of project EHS plans, procedures, and safety management systems.

- Monitor compliance with applicable Indonesian occupational health and safety regulations and client safety requirements.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

- Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and permit-to-work procedures.

- Monitor high-risk construction activities, including lifting operations, working at height, electrical works, and confined space entry.

- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and monitor corrective actions.

- Coordinate EHS activities with contractors, subcontractors, PMC personnel, and client representatives.

- Supervise EHS Officers and monitor site safety performance.

- Prepare EHS reports, safety statistics, and compliance documentation.

- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Recommended minimum 10 years of relevant construction EHS experience.

- Proven experience in EHS management on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or complex building construction projects.

- Data Center or Mission Critical Facilities experience is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of Indonesian K3 regulations and construction safety practices.

- Relevant occupational safety certification, such as Ahli K3 Konstruksi or equivalent, appropriate to the project requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to supervise EHS personnel and manage contractor safety performance.

- Strong leadership, communication, and incident management skills.

- English communication proficiency preferred.

- Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

- Willing to work in Jakarta or Batam.
