BIM Coordinator – Multidisciplinary Engineering

PT Meinhardt Indonesia is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to support BIM implementation, multidisciplinary model coordination, and project delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating BIM workflows, ensuring model quality, resolving coordination issues, and supporting project teams in delivering accurate and timely BIM outputs in accordance with project requirements and established BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, integration, and federation of BIM models across Architecture, Structural, Civil, and MEP disciplines.

• Perform and manage clash detection using Navisworks and other BIM coordination platforms, ensuring timely issue resolution.

• Monitor BIM modelling activities, drawing production, model quality, and deliverable progress.

• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project BIM standards, Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, and ISO 19650 principles.

• Review BIM models, drawings, clash reports, and related documentation for accuracy, consistency, and coordination quality.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, BIM modelers, project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and modelling issues.

• Provide technical guidance and support to BIM Modelers, BIM Engineers, and other assigned team members.

• Maintain BIM coordination records, issue logs, model revisions, and submission documentation.

• Support BIM quality assurance, process improvements, and timely project deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling, BIM coordination, design coordination, or project delivery.

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.

• Familiar with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.

• Good understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination, model federation, clash detection, and BIM quality control.

• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards, and ISO 19650 information management principles.

• Experience in engineering consultancy, construction, data center, industrial, infrastructure, or high-rise building projects is preferred.

• Previous experience coordinating BIM teams and managing multidisciplinary BIM deliverables will be an advantage.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken, for technical coordination and project communication.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with strong multidisciplinary BIM coordination experience.

• Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects.

• Experience working in a consultancy environments / enginerring services.
