Alchemy Canggu is a vibrant vegan restaurant focused on healthy, delicious, and nourishing plant-based food. We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Dessert Staff to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of vegan desserts according to recipes and company standards.

• Prepare ingredients, mise en place, and dessert components before service.

• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portion, and presentation.

• Follow recipes and maintain high-quality standards for all dessert products.

• Use plant-based ingredients creatively to produce delicious and visually appealing desserts.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients and finished products.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dessert station and kitchen area.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures at all times.

• Monitor ingredient quality and minimize food waste.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with menu preparation, new dessert development, and daily kitchen tasks when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dessert, pastry, bakery, or kitchen position is preferred.

• Experience working with vegan or plant-based desserts is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques.

• Creative and passionate about desserts and food presentation.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn.

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• A positive attitude and passion for healthy, plant-based cuisine.
